This craft was a joint effort between me and my son. The marbled effect is so pretty!
To make the marbled paper, we used a fun shaving cream and paint technique. Read about it here or watch my video:
We chose orange, pink, red and purple paint and F had a great time swirling it all about.
Then he placed paper onto the cream and paint, gently pushed down and carefully peeled it away.
We left it there for a few seconds, then he scraped off the paint.
When the paper had dried, I cut out flower shapes.
F glued a piece of screwed-up yellow tissue paper to the center. Then we attached some green pipe cleaners to the back of the flowers with tape to form leaves and stems.
These would be lovely as spring decorations, Easter cards or Mother’s Day cards!
