This sparkly craft is perfect for an ocean unit or any kind of fish theme. It is suitable for kids of all ages – even toddlers can pick up sequins and drop them onto the glue!
To prepare this craft I cut out two fish shapes from orange card and glued them onto some background paper. Then I spread some glue over the main body of the fish, and set out some sequins – we actually used this Spangle Mix that was kindly sent to me by craftprojectideas.com. Lots of variation!
My son placed the sequins and spangles onto the glue. He was quite random how he did this, but you might like to suggest a color theme, or shape theme, or some kind of pattern!
To finish, I glued a googly eye onto each fish. Super simple, and super pretty!
