Turn messy painty hands into cute handprint fish art!
Every time we do any finger painting, I always try and catch a couple of handprints – useful for clearing off excess paint if nothing else! As my son is quite young I usually try and get the prints on a separate piece of paper, then cut it out and mount it onto card. As he gets older we’ll do complete artworks.
These fish can be decorated with googly eyes, glitter pens, or sequins, and details can be drawn in with a marker pen. I *love* adding googly eyes – it seems to instantly make the fish full of character. I even wrote a whole blog post all about googly eyes!
