Santa Napkin Rings

Want to get kids to help setting the table? They’ll love the task after making these Santa napkin rings!Santa Napkin Rings - a cute Christmas craft for kids to make

This post contains affiliate links, which means that at no extra cost to you I can make a tiny bit of money to help support this blog. Thank you!

Make these adorable Santa napkin rings with the kids and they will be the feature of your Christmas table!

To make four napkin rings we used:

  • Two cardboard tubes
  • Scissors
  • Red acrylic paint (we used Apple Barrel Bright Red)
  • Black craft foam
  • Glue
  • Cotton wool balls
  • Gold metallic paper (ours actually came from a pack of origami paper!)

Most of these materials are easy to find – if you can’t get the gold paper then make a silver buckle out of kitchen foil instead!

Start by cutting the tubes in half, then painting them with the red paint.Santa Napkin Rings - a cute Christmas craft for kids to make

When the paint has dried, cut strips of black craft foam and glue them around the center of each tube.Santa Napkin Rings - a cute Christmas craft for kids to make

Add glue to each end of the tube. Pull apart some cotton wool balls and press them onto the glue. Cut out a buckle shape from the gold paper, and glue it into position. Note – cutting out the buckle shape is a job for an adult or older child.Santa Napkin Rings - a cute Christmas craft for kids to make

Let everything dry, then you are ready to use your Santa napkin rings!Santa Napkin Rings - a cute Christmas craft for kids to make

They are perfect for kids – but adults will love them too!Santa Napkin Rings - a cute Christmas craft for kids to make
