Painting with Mega Bloks

I’m always looking for new painting “tools”, so at our latest art session we tried painting with Mega Bloks!Painting with Mega Bloks - toddler art activity

I set out a selection of blocks and some corresponding yellow, orange and blue paints. F did pretty well at using both the top and bottom of the blocks for printing.

However he couldn’t resist getting stuck in with his hands and messing up all those lovely prints! Plus he really wanted to make some towers!

The final result isn’t the most beautiful piece of artwork – but it is certainly interesting and varied! I’d definitely call this process art – where it is all about the DOING and not caring about the finished masterpiece!
