These Minions water balloons are super fun to make – and even more fun to throw!

My son totally inspired this activity! We were playing with water balloons last weekend and he squashed a filled yellow water balloon into a sausage-shape and said it looked like a Minion! I had to agree with him, so the next time we got the water balloons out, I gave him only the yellow ones.
We have a new water balloon pump which means he can do some of the work. It has a fancy knot-tying device too – not something my son can do yet – but quite convenient for me!
We pumped up loads of yellow water balloons. Then I got out a black permanent marker and started drawing on Minion details. You HAVE to dry the balloon before you draw, otherwise it messes up the marker temporarily. Needless to say, F wanted in on the action too!
He only wanted to decorate one balloon so I completed the rest. Can you tell which one is his? 🙂
Then we were ready to take them outside and get throwing!
