This super easy American Flag Art was quick to prepare and quick to make!

To make this quick artwork we used the following:
- Blue construction paper
- Star stampers*
- White and red paint
- White card
- Painters’ tape
- Roller (or paint brush)
* We used our homemade champagne cork stamps which are very simple to make!
The first part of this art was to make white stars on the blue paper. Some of the stars didn’t come out too clearly due to the amount of paint used, but the overall effect was one of lots of stars.
The second part needed a bit of preparation on my part which I did while F was stamping. I used painters’ tape to mark out horizontal lines across the white card.
F then painted over the whole thing with red paint.
Because he used a roller the paint was quite evenly spread, so it dried pretty quickly. I carefully peeled off the painters’ tape.
Then I cut out a “good” section of the stars art and glued it onto the stripes art. And here’s our American Flag Art!
