Drawing under the table? Why? It’s fun, and it’s different. That’s why.
This activity is often done in preschools to mix things up a bit. Kid’s reactions when you tell them what you want them to do are priceless!
Set up is simple: Tape a piece of paper to the underside of a low table, provide pens/pencils/crayons, and invite your child to lie down underneath.
I set this activity up in the kitchen because every other available floor space was taken up with train tracks at the time. I added a fluffy rug so that the tiles wouldn’t be too uncomfortable for my budding artist!
We left the activity out because Laura from Lalymom and her kids were coming over for a playdate. Her daughter loved the idea and spent a long time creating a lovely picture.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to change the paper so they drew on the same piece!Kids will love to draw UNDER the table in this fun activity! Click To Tweet
